Premier League Updates: Jurgen Klopp wants Liverpool midfielder to sign a one-year contract

Lallana’s contract at Liverpool expires come to the end of the 2019-20 season, which means he will be allowed to leave the club on a free transfer. Football devotees around the world can obtain Premier League Tickets online to enjoy its superb performances.
However, despite Klopp accepting he will lose Lallana come to the end of the campaign, he still wants the Englishman to sign a one-year deal at Liverpool, as he believes Lallana still has plenty to offer.

Lallana can discuss and agree with terms with other clubs from today, which will then see him join his chosen club in six months’ time. It would make sense for Liverpool to try and convince Lallana to sign a new deal. He has been quite a handy squad player this season.
His most notable achievement was the equalizer in the 1-1 Premier League draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford back in October. Lallana will ultimately have the option of staying at Anfield and competing for trophies or move to a new club and start in more matches.
It does appear unlikely that Lallana will sign a new deal, as he is only six months away from being able to depart the club. Despite all this, is the commitment in regards to Liverpool winning the Premier League this season is clearly there to be seen.
Lallana Interview
Lallana told Liverpoolfc.com the following after featuring in the Reds’ 1-0 Premier League victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield last weekend: “It’s a squad game and I’ve said before that we’re going to need everybody.
“We’ve got a limited injury at the time being and three or four kids on the form, it’s a great experience for them being involved and so close to what’s been a special season so far. We can’t take our foot off the gas. We’ve got a couple of huge games at home in the next week Sheffield United, who have had a fantastic season, and then the race in the cup.”
“It’s important we improve because we’ve had a few injuries and it’s important that we get everybody back fit as quickly as possible. We want to maintain that form going into the New Year and keep Anfield a fortress.”
Lallana clearly would still like to be playing football on a regular basis, which is currently not the case at Anfield as of right now. Liverpool is so strong in midfield, which does make it too difficult for Lallana to get the minutes he would like. A move away from Anfield would be seen as appropriate for him.
