Arsenal host
Premier League champions Manchester City at the Emirates on Sunday and we used
FIFA 20 to get a score prediction for the big game in north London. Arsenal got
their first win under Freddie Ljungberg last week, beating West Ham 1-3 at the
London Stadium, but the Gunners face a much tougher task this weekend, as they
prepare to face Pep Guardiola's Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium. Football
fanatics from all over the world can buy Premier League Tickets online to enjoy its stunning
performances.
Kieran
Tierney, Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos will all be missing for Arsenal against
City, with doubts also surrounding the fitness of Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding
and Nicolas Pepe. Gabriel Martinelli is set to start in attack, with Alexandre
Lacazette on the bench.
So, what
lineup with Ljungberg goes against City?
And what
will the final score be at the Emirates?
We used FIFA
20 to simulate the outcome of Arsenal vs Manchester City.
Arsenal
vs Manchester City score predicted using FIFA 20
To set up
this simulation, we used kick-off mode within FIFA 20 but didn't select a team
to control; we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by
itself, to give us a unique prediction.
The AI
difficulty was set to world-class, with the line-up updated with the latest
transfers, injuries and suspensions.
We predict
that Arsenal could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with the line-up as
follows: Leno; Maitland-Niles, Chambers, Luiz, Kolasinac; Torreira,
Guendouzi; Pepe, Ozil, Martinelli; Aubameyang.
Manchester
City
Could set up
in a 4-3-3 formation, with the line-up as follows:
Ederson
Walker, Fernandinho, Otamendi, Zinchenko; De Bruyne, Rodri, Gundogan; Mahrez,
Jesus Sterling This was a really fun game to watch, with both sides going all
out for the win. The attacking players were certainly more effective than the
defenders on the pitch in this game. In the first half, both sides were playing
in a positive way, although there weren't many clear chances.
The best
chance for Arsenal in the first-half fell to Aubameyang, who attempted an
ambitious volley from just inside the area, but his effort flew over the bar,
with the ball at an awkward height.
For City,
Gabriel Jesus was thwarted by great goalkeeping from Bernd Leno, after the
Brazilian wriggled past Chambers in the box. Arsenal got the first goal of the
match, with Ozil threading a pass into Aubameyang, who took a touch and powered
an effort past Ederson to make it 1-0.
Cue the
celebrations.
But, the
celebrations would be short-lived as Kevin De Bruyne struck back for City just
minutes after the opener. The Belgian was at the end of a lovely team move
featuring Sterling, Rodri, and Gundogan, with the ball finally reaching the
midfielder in the box, who stroked his finish past Leno.
De Bruyne
ran straight to Guardiola to celebrate.
With City in
the ascendancy and pushing for a winner, the Gunners struck again against the
run of play, with Ozil doing the damage. In a fast counter-attack featuring
Martnelli and Aubameyang, the ball found its way to Ozil on the right of the
box, who danced past Otamendi before shooting from an ultra-tight angle, the
German's effort rebounded off Ederson and into the City goal to make it 2-1 on
the night.
But, City
wasn't to be denied.
With just
five minutes remaining, a magical pass from De Bruyne put Gabriel Jesus through
on goal and the Brazilian wasn't going to miss this time.
Jesus broke
out the famous celebration.
A really
epic encounter at the Emirates
Full-time
score: Arsenal 2-2 Manchester City

the full-time match stats.
Arsenal's
best player was Mesut Ozil, who scored and got an assist, although his goal was
actually credited as an Ederson's own goal. This FIFA 20 simulation predicts
that fans can expect a goal-fest at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, with
Arsenal taking a point off Manchester City.
