United handed Haaland boost
Manchester United has been a huge boost in their pursuit of
Erling Haaland from RB Salzburg in January. According to the Mirror, Red
Bull Leipzig has conceded that they are likely to be priced out of a move for
the forward.
Haaland worked with United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during
their brief spell together at Molde and is keen to secure the forward in the
upcoming window.
The 19-year-old has scored 28 goals in 22 appearances so far
this season, and has been linked with some of the top clubs in world football
as a result.
Sane set to stay at City
Just days after being linked with a fresh move for Leroy Sane
in the January transfer window, a member of Bayern Munich’s hierarchy has
appeared to play down interest in the Manchester City winger.
Sane, who is yet to feature for City after picking up a knee
injury against Liverpool in the Community Shield in August, was subject to a
failed bid from the German giants in the summer.
And the club's director, Hasan Salihamidzic, wouldn't be
drawn on Sane, when asked about transfers. "Sane? I don't want to talk
about other clubs' players," he told Calciomercato . "We
will wait and see but we aren't expecting to do much in January."
Arsenal defender targeted
Napoli and Roma want to sign Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac
in the upcoming January transfer window - according to Sky Sport News. Napoli,
who is now under the management of Gennaro Gattusso, is thought to bring the
Bosnia-Herzegovina left-back to the club next month.
While Roma are interested in a deal next summer when they
look into replacing the out-of-contract 34-year-old Aleksandar Kolarov,
formerly of Manchester City.
Kolasinac has two-and-a-half years left to run on his Gunners
contract and has made 14 appearances this season but with Mikel Arteta now in
charge of the north London club, the defender could be surface to requirements
as the Spaniard looks to freshen things up.
Bowen eyed Premier League clubs
Newcastle, Aston Villa, Brighton and Southampton have all
joined the race for Hull winger Jarrod Bowen. Goal is reporting that the
Premier League clubs are monitoring the 23-year-old, whose contract with the
Championship expires at the end of the season. The attacker has bagged 54 goals
across the last two-and-a-half seasons in the Championship.
