Serbian midfielder Marko Grujic was
excellent for Hertha Berlin on Friday night, leading many Reds fans to
speculate over whether he could save the club big money. Football devotees from
around the world can book Premier League Tickets online to enjoy its intense
actions.
On-loan
Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic has started the season in good form
having joined German side Hertha Berlin for a second successive
campaign, and many Reds fans have been impressed enough to want him considered
for a squad role at Anfield next season.
Jurgen
Klopp’s first Liverpool signing has been earmarked as a potential
replacement for James Milner, whose contract will expire next summer,
though the Serbian does not have the same versatility that Klopp’s vice-captain
possesses.
Milner,
who has made 12 appearances in the Premier League so far this season, could yet sign a
new deal to keep him at Anfield for a little longer, with Klopp still valuing
his presence highly.
It
is believed that fellow midfielder Adam Lallana’s deal is also up next
summer, though he has an option in his contract, signed in 2017, of an
additional year, which the Reds could yet activate.
The
number 20 had been linked with moves to Paris Saint-Germain, MLS and
China a couple of months ago, but since then, he has scored
an important goal to equalize at Old Trafford and has begun to play
more regularly over the last couple of weeks.
Ahead
of the January transfer window, Genk midfielder Sander Berge has been
linked with a move to the Reds, with speculation having only increased
since Fabinho picked up his injury.
Lots
of Reds supporters, though, would rather see Grujic given a chance from next
season than money being splashed on the Norwegian.

Simon
Bray tweeted: "Looks a very similar player to our own Grujic, who seems
much more of a developed player since his loan moves. Surely worth utilizing
Grujic than spending?"
Several
others made the point that Grujic is further ahead in his development than
Berge, with the Genk man, not 22 until February. Grujic put in a man of the
match performance on Friday night as he scored once and assisted once in a 2-2
draw with Eintracht Frankfurt.
It
took the midfielder to three goals and two assists in 15 appearances so far
this season - a very decent return from the 23-year-old, who netted five across
the entirety of the last campaign.
Hertha
was denied what would have been new manager Jurgen Klinsmann’s first win after
conceding a late goal, but from Grujic's personal perspective, it was a
successful afternoon. There is no suggestion that Grujic will be recalled from
his Hertha loan early to provide cover for Fabinho, with Klopp having several
options in midfield.
Gini
Wijnaldum and Lallana are both expected to be back in time to face Red Bull
Salzburg on Tuesday night having missed the win at Bournemouth with minor
knocks. Captain Jordan Henderson has also been filling in for Fabinho in the
number six role in the Brazilian's absence. But from next season, Grujic could
be given the chance to prove his Anfield credentials depending on who moves on.
