Arsenal eye Wolves youngster
Arsenal, Liverpool, and PSG are all said to be tracking Wolves youngster Owen Otasowie. The 18-year-old center-back has reportedly caught the eye of the three clubs after impressing for the club’s academy, with German club Schalke also taking an interest.
Otasowie is out of contract in the summer, but should he move abroad the signing club will have to pay compensation. The youngster can also play in midfield, according to the Sun, and is available for England, Nigeria and the USA but has not made a decision on his international future.
West Ham tracking Bundesliga star
West Ham is reportedly eyeing Paderborn striker Streli Mamba. The 25-year-old scored twice in the weekend’s 3-3 draw against Borussia Dortmund, taking his tally to four goals and an assist in eight Bundesliga games this season.
And Calciomercato state that West Ham is one of the clubs keen on the striker. He was signed by the German side for just €500,000 in the summer and could represent something of a bargain if Paderborn decides to move him on.
West Ham is described as in the front row for the player, with competition from the Eredivisie, Bundesliga, and Atalanta from Serie A
Mourinho on Zlatan
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has predictable been linked with Spurs since Jose Mourinho’s arrival, and the manager was asked about him in yesterday’s press conference.
Crystal Palace linked to Gabigol
Crystal Palace has been linked with a €40million for Inter striker Gabriel Barbosa (aka Gabigol), who has been on loan at Flamengo. The 23-year-old moved from Brazil to Milan in 2016 but has since been on three loan spells.
And following a starring role in the Copa Libertadores final, in which he scored both of his side’s goals in a 2-1 win, Gabigol has been linked with a permanent move away from Serie A.
Corriere della Sera says Palace is “on the track” to sign the Brazil international, with Tuttosport claiming that he is now valued at around €40m, whereas before late goals for Flamengo it was closer to €25m.
