Premier League: Latest Chelsea injury news and return dates ahead of West Ham

Who might be out and who is a doubt for the Premier League game against West Ham United?
Attention goes to the Premier League again for Chelsea and Frank Lampard as they look to bounce back from the previous week's loss against reigning Champions Manchester City. Football fans from around the world can purchase Premier League Football Tickets online to enjoy its stunning performances.

The Blues took the lead against Pep Guardiola's men at the Etihad Stadium thanks to N'Golo Kante's goal but a repelled Kevin De Bruyne attack and a goal from Riyad Mahrez meant that Chelsea suffered their first loss in seven league games after recording six victories in a row.
However, Chelsea has a good chance to bounce back as they face West Ham United who is in poor form with manager Manuel Pellegrini among the favorites to be the next Premier League manager to misplace his job.
Chelsea sits in the previous Champions League spot although there is a seven-point gap to fifth-placed Wolves they will be looking to increase that with a victory on Saturday.
So, who will be suitable and available for the visit of the Hammers?
Here we take a look at the latest Chelsea injury news and predictable return dates.

Tammy Abraham

Chelsea were handed a major injury worry as star striker Abraham was stretchered from the field during the second half of the Champions League match at Valencia after falling awkwardly on his hip.
Initial fear was that the injury was quite serious with suggestions that the England international had been taken to hospital for a scan, however, both head coach Frank Lampard and Abraham himself moved to ease the concerns of Chelsea fans after the match.
"The term at half time was it observed quite severe a bang on the hip," said Lampard in his post-match media conference.
Then the term after the game was it might not be as simple as we first thought. That is as many facts as I have.

Abraham also gave an update himself: It is much better, much better than when it happened, he told.
At the time I was terrible of the worst obviously, but when I got into the changing room I was able to walk again exchange about. So I'm grateful. Optimistically it is not too long out injured.

Ross Barkley

It seems like the England midfielder was composed for a return to the squad.
Barkley has not featured since the 1-0 win against Newcastle United in October after picking up an ankle injury in the win with Lampard confirming that Barkley would not be fit enough to make the team for the visit of Crystal Palace.
The England international was, in the beginning, called up to Gareth Southgate's squad for the international matches against Montenegro and Kosovo over the international break. But the midfielder was forced to pull out of the Three Lions squad before the first of two matches due to the injury.
Barkley missed the Manchester City clash but was predictable to return for the game against Valencia after he was spotted training with the rest of the first-team squad in the build-up to the game on Wednesday. However, he was not named in the traveling squad instead, staying at home to continue his recovery ahead of the West Ham clash.

Antonio Rudiger

Antonio Rudiger had appeared to have given Frank Lampard a welcome injury increase by announcing himself fit for the Blues' trip to Watford last month but it was ruled out as a miscommunication.

The German center-back underwent knee surgery in the summer and has wasted a good majority of the season but looks set for a coming back in the next couple of weeks. He had an operation and he is going to be out probably for three weeks hopefully, Lampard confirmed at his pre-Crystal Palace press conference at the beginning of November.

Cullum Hudson-Odoi

Hudson-Odoi picked up a hamstring problem on international duty and missed the trip to the Etihad Stadium. The winger was substituted in the second half of England's game against Kosovo but there was no reported injury at the time.
"Cullum Hudson-Odoi is possibly the one who has a restrict issue that he picked up in the England game he will struggle to be in the argument for this game but it is short term," said Chelsea boss Lampard.
Hudson-Odoi was not spotted during the open training session ahead of Wednesday evening's game and did not travel to Spain either. Lampard is hopeful that he will return for the London derby against West Ham United at the weekend.

Ruben Loftus Cheek

Loftus Cheek was establishing himself as a key member of Maurizio Sari’s squad at the end of last season. However, in the post-season friendly ahead of the Europa League final Loftus Cheek suffered the same injury as Hudson-Odoi as he ruptured his Achilles' tendon.
The midfielder is still experiencing therapy with Loftus Cheek working towards a return as soon as possible.
However, Lampard has warned it could still be a while yet before the midfielder is available for selection.

Marco van Ginkel

The midfielder is a long term absentee as he continues his rehabilitation following an anterior cruciate ligament injury. The Dutchman is on the way to recovery, having confirmed on social media that he has now returned to training.

After other than a year, in conclusion back on the pitch. For most players, it is usual to be training external but I had some setbacks throughout my recovery which was frustrating. I am working solidly every day not there so far but it is getting closer now.
