Thomas Mueller claimed
on Sunday that he is not intent in a recall to the Germany squad for Euro 2020 even
though inspiring recent displays for Bayern Munich.

Laterally with fellow
2014 World Cup champions Mats Hummels and Jerome Boateng, Mueller was rudely
told by Germany head coach Joachim Loew in March that his global career is ended.
Mueller has been in countless
fresh form with seven goals and nine assists in his last 15 playoff for Bayern.
Loew understands the
next age group, including Bayern winger Serge Gnabry, Manchester City’s Leroy

Bayern Munich bosses
are advising Germany head coach Joachim Loew to recall Mueller to the domestic
team and take the in-form onward to the Euro 2020 finals.
Loew released a shock
in March 2019 by axing Mueller, plus fellow 2014 World Cup victors Jerome
Boateng and Mats Hummels.
Loew ditched the trio
to rebuild the German team after the debacle at the 2018 World Cup when the
defending champions finished last in their group and failed to reach the
knock-out stages in Russia.

Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz.

I always say if someone
plays fine, and I hope that Thomas will remain to play at this top-level, then perhaps

Hummels, 31, is also
enjoying a spell of good form at center back with Borussia Dortmund and there
were similar calls for his return to the national side last October.
Oliver Bierhoff, the
director of the German national team, hinted at the time the door was open for
both Hummels and Mueller but said later there was no discussion about recalling
Hummels for November’s final Euro 2020 qualifiers.
Regardless of the Euro
2020 finals, Hummels and Mueller could yet feature at a major tournament having
been named in the preliminary squad for the German team to play at the 2020
Tokyo Olympics.
