Fulham's training ground is located near Motspur Park, where the club's Academy is also situated.

The club gained professional status on 12 December 1898, in the same year that they were admitted into the Southern League's Second Division. They were the second club from London to turn professional, following Arsenal F.C. (Royal Arsenal 1891). They adopted a red and white kit during the 1900–01 seasons. In 1902–03 they won promotion from this division, entering the Southern League First Division. The club's first recorded all-white club kit came in 1903, and ever since then the club has been playing in all-white shirts and black shorts, with socks going through various evolutions of black and/or white, but are now normally white-only. Fulham were the only team to host top-flight football with some standing areas in the twenty-first century, but due to restrictions on standing this was not allowed to continue. Fulham were forced to ground share with Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road during the 2002–03 and 2003–04 seasons while Craven Cottage was being rebuilt as an all-seated stadium. There were fears that Fulham would not return to the Cottage, after it was revealed that Al-Fayed had sold the first right to build on the ground to a property development firm.

In March 2011 Fulham posted annual losses of £16.9 million, Al-Fayed stated that he would continue to make "funds available to achieve our goals both on and off the pitch" and that the "continued success of Fulham and its eventual financial self-sustainability is my priority."

Chelsea became the first London club to capture the Champions League after winning the match on penalties after the game finished 1–1 with extra time. The game was the culmination of the 57th season of the tournament, and the 20th since it was renamed the Champions League.

It was the first Champions League Final to be held in the Allianz Arena (known as "Fußball Arena München" for the final) which opened in 2005. With Bayern being one of two tenants of the Arena, it was the first time since 1984 that a finalist had home stadium advantage. Didier Drogba get the honors man of the match. FC Barcelona were not in Munich to defend their European title, but Lionel Messi won the top scorer honors for a record fourth successive season with an unsurpassed 14 goals.

14 Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona), 12 Mario Gomez (FC Bayern München),10 Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid CF),7 Karim Benzema, (Real Madrid CF),6 Didier Drogba (Chelsea FC),5 José Callejón (Real Madrid CF).

The teams had not met before in the final. Bayern entered the competition as four-time winners from eight final appearances, most recently losing in 2010, while Chelsea had reached the final just once before, losing on penalties in 2008. Defending champions Barcelona were eliminated by Chelsea in the semi-finals. Neither team reached the final as champions of their 2011–12 domestic leagues (the Bundesliga and Premier League, respectively), although Chelsea won the 2012 FA Cup Final. The winners, Chelsea, will play the 2011-12 Europa League winners Atletico Madrid of Spain in the 2012 UEFA Super Cup, and also enter the semi-finals of the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup as the UEFA representative.

To reach the final, in the knockout phase Bayern defeated Basel, Marseille, and Real Madrid (3–1 on penalties after a 3–3 aggregate score), while Chelsea overcame Napoli, Benfica, and the defending champions Barcelona (3–2 on aggregate). Both teams reached the final having already lost out in their domestic leagues (the Bundesliga and Premier League respectively), but having also reached the final of their domestic cup competitions (the DFB-Pokal and FA Cup respectively), to be played prior to the Champions League Final. Chelsea won the FA Cup by defeating Liverpool 2–1 while Bayern lost the Final of the DFB-Pokal 2–5 to Borussia Dortmund.

Both clubs lost their most recent Champions League final, Bayern in 2010 to Internazionale 0–2, Chelsea in 2008 to Manchester United on penalties after a 1–1 draw. While that was Chelsea's only Champions League final, Bayern have played in eight Champions League/European Cup finals, winning four (1974,1975,1976,2001) and losing four (1982.1987,1999and 2010).They have only met each other once in Europe before, with Chelsea winning 6–5 on aggregate in the quarter-finals of the 2004-05 UEFA Champions League.

Scottish Cup Final 2012

The 2012 Scottish Cup Final will be the 127th final of the Scottish Cup, Scottish football’s most prestigious knockout association football competition. The match will take place at Hampden Park on 19 May 2012 and will be contested by the Edinburgh derby rivals, Hibernian (Hibs) and Heart of Midlothian (Hearts). It will be Hibs' 12th Scottish Cup Final and Hearts' 14th. It is also the first time the clubs have met in a Scottish Cup Final since 1896.

As Scottish Premier League (SPL) clubs, Hibs and Hearts both entered the competition in the fourth round. Hibs won all four of their ties at the first attempt, defeating two other SPL clubs and two Scottish Football League clubs. After winning against a junior club in the fourth round, Hearts defeated three other SPL clubs to reach the final. Hearts needed replays to eliminate St Johnston and St Mirren, then beat cup holders and SPL champions Celtic in the semi-final.

Scottish Premier League club Hibernian (Hibs) entered the competition in the fourth round. They began their campaign against Second Division leaders Cowdenbeath at Central Park, which was suggested as a possible cup upset due to Hibs' poor league form. Cowdenbeath took the lead after just 15 seconds, but Hibs recovered to win 3–2. Hibs then took on fellow Scottish Premier League  club Kilmarnock at their home ground, Easter Road, having made several signings in January 2012. An early goal by Irish striker Eoin Doyle was enough to give Hibs a 1–0 win.

In the quarter-final Hibs were drawn against the other senior club from Ayrshire, away to Ayr United. Again the match was tipped as a possible cup upset, as Ayr had beaten Hibs (after a replay) in the 2010-11 Scotish Cup competition. Hibs scored two early goals, however, and progressed to the semi-final with a 2–0 victory. In the semi-final, Hibs took on Aberdeen at Hampden Park. Garry O’Connor scored an early goal, but  Rory Fallon equalised for Aberdeen in the second half with a spectacular looping volley. Hibs won 2–1, however, thanks to a late winning goal by Leigh Griffiths.

Heart of Midlothian (Hearts), also a Scottish Premier League club, entered the competition in the fourth round. They began their campaign against Junior club Auchinleck Talbot at their home ground of Tynecastle Stadium. A late goal by Gordon Smith gave Hearts a 1–0 victory in a match they had been expected to win comfortably. Hearts then needed replays to beat Scottish Premier League opponents St Johnston and St Mirren in the fifth round and quarter final respectively.

In the replay of the tie against St. Johnstone, Hearts needed a penalty kick (converted by Jamie Hamill) to force a period of extra time , during which Marius Zaliukas scored the winning goal. Hearts progressed to the semi-final, where they had been drawn against cup holders and league champions Celtic. Hearts took the lead early in the second half, but Gary Hooper scored a late equaliser from an offside position. Within a few minutes, however, Hearts were awarded a penalty kick for handball. This opportunity was converted by Craig Beattie and gave Hearts a 2–1 victory.

Chelsea Winning History- Overview

ChelseaFootball Club is an English football club based in Fulham, London. Founded in 1905, they play in the Premier League and have spent most of their history in the top tier of English football. Chelsea has been English Champions four times, FA Cup winners six times and League Cup winners four times. They have also achieved European success, winning the UEFA Cup Winners Cup twice.

Bobby Tambling is Chelsea's all-time top goals corer, with 202 goals in 370 games (1959–70). Eight other players have also scored over 100 goals for Chelsea: George Hilsdon (1906–12), George Mills (1929–39),Roy Bentley (1948–56),  Jimmy Greaves (1957–61),  Peter Osgood (1964–74 and 1978–79), Kerry Dixon (1983–92), Frank Lampard (2001–) and Didier Drogba   (2004–). With 193 goals, Dixon is the only player to have come close to matching Tambling's record. Greaves holds the record for the most goals scored in one season (43 in 1960–61). Lampard is the top scorer currently at the club with 184.

Chelsea's biggest winning score line in a competitive match is 13–0, achieved against Jensen Hautcharge in the Cup Winners in 1971. The club's biggest top-flight win was an 8–0 victory against Wigan Athletic in 2010. Chelsea's biggest loss was an 8–1 reverse against Wolverhampton Wanders in 1953. Officially, Chelsea's highest home attendance is 82,905 for a First Division match against Arsenal on 12 October 1935. However, an estimated crowd of over 100,000 attended a friendly match against Soviet team Dynamo Moscow on 13 November 1945. The modernization of Stamford Bridge during the 1990s and the introduction of all-seater stands mean that neither record will be broken for the foreseeable future. The current legal capacity of Stamford Bridge is 41,837.

Chelsea hold the English record for the highest ever points total for a league season (95), the fewest goals conceded during a league season (15), the highest number of Premier League victories in a season (29), the highest number of clean sheets overall in a Premier League season (25) (all set during the 2004-05 season), and the most consecutive clean sheets from the start of a league season (6, set during the 2005-06 season). The club's 21–0 aggregate victory over Jaunesse Hautcharge in the UEFA Cup Winners Cup in 1971 remains a record in European competition. Chelsea hold the record for the longest streak of unbeaten matches at home in the English top-flight, which lasted 86 matches from 20 March 2004 to 26 October 2008. They secured the record on 12 August 2007, beating the previous record of 63 matches unbeaten set by Liverpool between 1978 and 1980. Chelsea's streak of eleven consecutive away league wins, set between 5 April 2008 and 6 December 2008, is also a record for the English top flight.

Chelsea has recorded several "firsts" in English football. Along with Arsenal, they were the first club to play with shirt numbers on 25 August 1928 in their match against Swansea Town. Chelsea were the first English side to travel by aero plane to a domestic away match, when they visited Newcastle United   on 19 April 1957, and that First Division side to play a match on a Sunday, when they faced Stoke City  on 27 January 1974. On 26 December 1999, Chelsea became the first British side to field an entirely foreign starting line-up (no British or Irish players) in a Premier League match against Southampton.

On 19 May 2007, they became the first team to win the FA Cup at the new Wembley Stadium, having also been the last to win it at the old Wembley.  After the conclusion of the 2007–08 seasons, Chelsea became the highest ranked club under UEFA’s five-years coefficient system used in the seeding of European club competitions in the following season, the first English club to do so in the 21st century. On the final day of the 2009–10 seasons, Chelsea became the first team in Premier League history to score at least 100 goals in a single season. Their £50m purchase of Fernando Torres in January 2011 is a British record transfer fee. Chelsea holds the dubious distinction of having conceded the fastest goal in both the FA Cup Final and the League Cup Final; though they went on to win on both occasions.

Manchester United Football Grounds

Newton Heath initially played on a field on North Road, close to the railway yard; the original capacity was about 12,000, but club officials deemed the facilities inadequate for a club hoping to join The Football League Some expansion took place in 1887, and in 1891 Newton Heath used its minimal financial reserves to purchase two grandstands, each able to hold 1,000 spectators. Although attendances were not recorded for many of the earliest matches at North Road, the highest documented attendance was approximately 15,000 for a First Division match against Sunderland on 4 March 1893. A similar attendance was also recorded for a friendly match against Gorton Villa on 5 September 1889.
In June 1893, after the club was evicted from North Road by its owners, Manchester Deans and Canons, who felt it was inappropriate for the club to charge an entry fee to the ground, secretary A. H. Albut procured the use of the Bank Street ground in Clayton. It initially had no stands, by the start of the 1893–94 season, two had been built; one spanning the full length of the pitch on one side and the other behind the goal at the "Bradford end". At the opposite end, the "Clayton end", the ground had been "built up, thousands thus being provided for" Newton Heath's first league match at Bank Street was played against Burnley on 1 September 1893, when 10,000 people saw Alf Farman score a hat-trick, Newton Heath's only goals in a 3–2 win.

Manchester United Tickets
The remaining stands were completed for the following league game against Nottingham Forest three weeks later In October 1895, before the visit of Manchester City, the club purchased a 2,000-capacity stand from the Broughton Rangers rugby league club, and put up another stand on the "reserved side" (as distinct from the "popular side"). However, weather restricted the attendance for the Manchester City match to just 12,000.When the Bank Street ground was temporarily closed by bailiffs in 1902, club captain Harry Stafford raised enough money to pay for the club's next away game at Bristol City and found a temporary ground at Harpurhey for the next reserves game against Padiham. Following financial investment, new club president J.H. Davies paid £500 for the erection of a new 1,000-seat stand at Bank Street. Within four years, the stadium had cover on all four sides, as well as the ability to hold approximately 50,000 spectators, some of whom could watch from the viewing gallery atop the Main Stand.
Manchester United Football Club is an English professional football club, based in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester that plays in the Premier League. Scottish Cup Final Football

Scotland has the second oldest national Football Association in the world (behind England's FA), and the trophy for the national cup, the Scottish Cup, is the oldest sporting trophy in the world. Scottish football club Rangers have won a world record 54 league titles. Scotland and Scottish football clubs hold many records for football attendances; A game known as "football" was played in Scotland as early as the 15th century: it was prohibited by the Football Act 1424 and although the law fell into disuse it was not repealed until 1906. There is evidence for schoolboys playing a "football" ball game in Aberdeen in 1633 (some references cite 1636) which is notable as an early allusion to what some have considered to be passing the ball.

Th"repercute pilam" (strike the ball again) in the original Latin. It is not certain that the ball was being struck between members of the same team. The original word translated as "goal" is "metum", literally meaning the "pillar at each end of the circus course" in a Roman chariot race. There is a reference to "get hold of the ball before [another player] does" (Praeripe illi pilam is posses agere) suggesting that handling of the ball was allowed. One sentence states in the original 1930 translation "Throw you against him" (Age, objice te illi). The Scottish Football Association (SFA) is the principal organising body for Scottish football. Members of the SFA include clubs in Scotland, affiliated national associations as well as local associations. It was formed in 1873, making it the World's second oldest national football association.

The SFA is responsible for the operation of the Scotland National Football Team, the annual Scottish Cup and several other duties important to the functioning of the game in Scotland. The Scottish Football Association Challenge Cup commonly known as the Scottish Cup or the William Hill Scottish Cup for sponsorship purposes is the main national cup competition in Scottish football. It is a knockout cup competition run by and named after the Scottish Football Association.
