Premier League: Transfer ban appeal latest, Jadon Sancho update amid Liverpool link

The latest Chelsea news onward of the Premier League clash with Everton at Goodison Park as the Blues await news on the consequence of their transferal ban appeal: Chelsea is back in Premier League stroke tomorrow Saturday as they are portable to face Everton at Goodison Park.
The Blues will make the tour to Merseyside to face the Toffees who presently sit in the demotion zone after a 5-2 loss against city rivals Liverpool on Wednesday evening. Football fans from around the world can purchase Premier League Football Tickets online to enjoy its stunning performances.

Chelsea will be improved by a first victory in three games after beating Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening which preserved their position in the top four with a six-point advantage over Wolves in fifth.
Ahead of the game, we take a gaze at the latest Chelsea news below.

Transfer ban the latest

Chelsea is awaiting news of their petition to the Court of Arbitration for Sport over the transfer ban given to them by FIFA. The Blues were handed the two-window ban by FIFA back in February after supposedly breaking rules over the signing of minors from overseas although Chelsea has denied any offense.
They were unable to register new players in the summer transfer window and as things stand they are not able to sign players in January either. If their appeal is successful, that could change but former Chelsea striker Carlton Cole feels it may actually be a good thing for Blues head coach to not have the transfer ban lifted.
“If the ban is lifted and that gives them an unfair benefit to the other teams then I do not think that is right. They need to serve the correct time for the decision," he said, speaking exclusively to 888sport.
Having said that, whether they are allowed to buy or not I do not think it will make a big difference to them or Lamps. He has got the team playing the way he wants and the players are playing for him. It would be better for him if he’s not allowed to buy in the window. Then if things do fall short for him he is still got that cushion to say I was not able to buy.

Also when you look at the Premier League, it is really hard to buy someone in the January window who could come in and make a massive difference. Unless you spend big money and I do not think that is their priority. They need to stay getting the team on the same page.
Their defense definitely needs shoring up even if they have improved over the last few weeks. The defense is a very big issue for them and that needs sorting out. But I would definitely wait until the summer.

Sancho transfer update

Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League with Chelsea Liverpool and Manchester United among the clubs linked with signing him. He has had some issues at Dortmund this season, fuelling speculation that he could be allowed to move on.
A January move seems unlikely but there have been suggestions that he could move next summer with the clubs said to be monitoring his situation in Germany. And Goal reports that Chelsea is prepared to smash their transfer record in a bid to sign the teenager.

Chelsea's current transfer record is the £72million paid to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga, and it is likely to take a bid of more than that to bring Sancho to west London. However, some Blues fans are hopeful that his friendship with Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson Odoi could prove to be a key factor in his future.

Premier League: Tammy Abraham the real deal, Kante and Kovacic axis, Mason Mount and Chelsea's big issue

The Blues closed a 2-1 win over Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night-time.
Having not scored since October 6 it was possibly understandable that he might have felt some stress on his shoulders. Football fans from around the world can purchase Premier League Football Tickets online to enjoy its stunning performances.

Mason Mount’s confidence

The midfielder had an excellent start to the Premier League campaign but with so much ability around him then the must make you crucial will always be there. Frank Lampard said after the Aston Villa victory that the youngster is more than just goals which is surely right but it has become a big part of his start with the Blues.
“I do not think Mason should be dignified purely on goals,” Lampard said. “We had an international pause; we had a pair of games where he has not started. It is not fair to look as simple as that but goals are part of his game.

Tammy Abraham the real deal

Okay, I think it is innocent to say now that Tammy Abraham is the actual deal when it comes to Chelsea strikers. Over the previous couple of seasons ever since Diego Costa moved on to Atletico Madrid the Blues have been terrible out for a number nine.
Alvaro Morata flopped, Gonzalo Higuain was inferior, Michy Batshuayi has not ever been truly trusted and Olivier Giroud has had his instants of success. But in 14 Premier League competitions, Abraham has now counted 11 goals and provided three assists.

Chelsea’s character

When the Blues hiked off against West Ham on Saturday afternoon in loss, queries started to be raised. Not just by the followers, pundits, and press but by the Chelsea manager himself. Frank Lampard desired to see the character and determination from his side to bounce back from a run of form that had not seen them at their best.

Saturday’s beating was their first back-to-back Premier League losses under Lampard but they were intense not to make it three. And particularly in the second half, the character shown by his team verified that there is more than just youth and endeavor on the surface.

Kovacic/Kante axis

Lampard is ongoing to play with his side to find the right mixtures all over the pitch. With such a hectic couple of weeks coming up counting a tour to Everton and then the Champions League match with Lille Lampard is switching things up.
For the Villa victory it was a combination of Mateo Kovacic and N’Golo Kante as the axis in midfield and it surely worked a treat for the majority of the game. The Croatian has become a vital member of the side. Previous season he was on the margin of the team and never looked comfortable.
And with Kante next to him he is one of the world-class performers in the Premier League with Dean Smith even declaring that he thought there were three of him on the pitch.

Need to kill off games

While the second half was much better from the Blues and they certainly took the strength up there is still a query of killing matches off. The Blues had plenty of probabilities in the second half especially but there was a component of trying to overplay.

For example, Christian Pulisic got into some strange positions in the box but could not quite get the ball out of his feet to get the shot away. Cesar Azpilicueta missed an outstanding shot while Tom Heaton made an excellent stop from Willian’s free-kick.
The problem for the Blues is that it is setting their defense under pressure when they are not able to go and see off the game in style.
